Thunderbirds Desperate Indruder review

Here's what you need to know; Brains and Tintin join an archaeological crew out to find treasure in the desert, things look promising, until darker forces arrive to steal the treasure, and put an end to the efforts of International Rescue for good.

Something I will say is how funny the taxi driver is in this episode, imagine if this show came out today, the hyper offendable PC police would go ape. On a more serious note there is a lot to like about desperate intruder, starts with Eyebrows getting really intense in this episode's opening, really, it's actually pretty amusing, the Hood is a pretty cool villain in this episode, in a very over the top kind of way. And he has a few really cool scenes, like when he has Brains buried in the sand, and when he's in his mini sub spying on International Rescue. Like wise the exploring of the lake and the submerged temple are also pretty cool, and it's cool to see Brains and Tintin off Tracy island and on an adventure of their own. The other explorer they're with is also very funny to me, good old bang on,  jolly good show, I say. When the Thunderbirds arrive the Hood says some funny lines, and it's still cool to see Thunderbird 4 some more, but I feel like the rescue could have been more exciting, I think more time should have been spent with Thunderbird 4 and the mini sub, maybe more of a fight, or even more of a hide and seek scenario on the lake bed, instead it's an exchange of a few missiles and that's the Hood dealt with, not so much underwhelming, but it could have been more. So all in all I had a few laughs with this episode, and it has a few cool moments, but this is a less exciting episode, for sure, and it could have been more, still, worth checking out.
