For the longest time Deadpool has deserved his own movie, a character who is infectiously self aware, constantly breaking the 4th wall, a movie would be perfect for a character like that, and a movie that's completely self aware is a movie I want to see whenever one arises, because that stuff is funny. And when Deadpool, Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead look ready for battle and Deadpool gestures to the camera and says "queue the music", I was sold. This movie pokes fun at Green Lantern, which cracked me up, Stan Lee is a strip club MC, which cracked me up, and finally, when Deadpool breathes in the gunsmoke and says "I'm touching myself tonight" I lost it. This trailer is funny as shit, and I hope the movie is as funny as this, be really sad if it wasn't. The action in this film also looks really fun, with that slow mo shot of deadpool spinning through the air shooting and the bullet takes three guys out like dominos, with blood and brain splattering everywhere, it's just so beautiful. It's nice to see a film like this, since mic book movies have all become dark and mature, and then you have Deadpool which is a complete pisser, it's refreshing. The film also appears to delve into Deadpool's past, which is handled seemingly in the same comedic way, at least I hope so.
This is a short post I know, but it's a low def leaked trailer, I don't know what I can say, it looks funny, it looks like it has fun action, and I kind of want Fox to release the high def version so everyone can see it, because I really am looking forward to watching this movie.
